TwistedMetal4 Recompiled is a community project by TechnicallyComputers.
It brings Twisted Metal 4 to Windows, macOS, and Linux through PSXRecomp, with the original local multiplayer still part of the game.
Playable status
Yes, with one setup step. Releases are published on GitHub. You point the project at a disc dump you provide, and it builds the native game on your machine.
No BIOS dump is needed by default, since the open-source OpenBIOS is used unless you supply your own.
The original local multiplayer is still part of the game: up to four players on one screen, matching the multitap setup. Online play is planned, but should not be treated as a current feature yet.
